The death of Miss Philomène LeBlanc of Fox Creek and formerly of Memramcook East occurred Thursday (28 février) at Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 75.
Born in Memramcook East, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Élise (Cormier) LeBlanc.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Antoine Gaudet (Amanda), Memramcook West, Mrs. Gérald LeBlanc (Eléonore) Fox Creek, Mrs. Léandre Bourque (Eugénie), Moncton and brother, Francis, Moncton; several nieces and nephews.
The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home in Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 4 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Entombment will be in St Thomas parish cemetery vault, St Joseph, to await interment in the parish cemetry in Memramcook East in the spring.
